 Graeme has nearly a decade of experience teaching academic English and preparing students for standardized tests, particularly in the Cambridge CEFR system (FCE, CAE, CPE) and IELTS (Academic and General), and has also taught TOEFL, SSAT, and CELPIP. After graduating with a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto,

 Graeme has nearly a decade of experience teaching academic English and preparing students for standardized tests, particularly in the Cambridge CEFR system (FCE, CAE, CPE) and IELTS (Academic and General), and has also taught TOEFL, SSAT, and CELPIP. After graduating with a BA in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Toronto, Graeme studied in Europe, where he got his MA. He then spent a year teaching in Japan as part of the JET Programme. He has also worked for the Olympics, and is a qualified career college instructor. Graeme is passionate about history, sports, and fantasy fiction, and is actively involved in politics. He strongly believes in making connections with learners and building personalized programs of study to meet each student’s unique needs.

After completing his degree in political science and philosophy, Brock headed off to South Korea where he discovered a whole new world both culturally and professionally.  After spending a couple years helping high school students prepare for post-secondary studies and exams, he pivoted to education consultant for a firm which focused on the education and evaluation of Korea employees seeking to emigrate overseas.  Brock's approach to English-learning prioritizes critical thinking, collaborative engagement, and communicative competence.  Whether you are applying to university or looking for a new career, Brock's goal is to 'meet his students where they are' on their ESL journey and so enable them to communicate naturally and effectively in every forum - from the academic symposium to the water cooler.

He has mentored hundreds of students who have gone on to achieve phenomenal results. By utilizing technology effectively, Jacob strongly believes that Aristotelian tutorship can be accomplished in today’s hectic digital age. His diverse background allows him to aid candidates master the art of reading and writing in a range of contexts.

He enjoyed teaching so much that he honed his skills by completing Douglas College’s TESL program in 2015 obtaining employment in Vanco

With a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Theatre, Brodie eventually found himself drawn to teaching. Upon completing his first TESL diploma, he began to tutor English for various companies and individuals. He enjoyed teaching so much that he honed his skills by completing Douglas College’s TESL program in 2015 obtaining employment in Vancouver that very same year. With roughly six years of experience, teaching levels from beginner to high-intermediate of all ages, Brodie strives to deliver the best learning experience, looking to build a rapport with his students to better suit their needs. When he’s not teaching, he enjoys playing video games, tabletop roleplaying games and volleyball.
